Cabin

Over the weekend we had a great time at the cabin. Jag was not feeling the best, he had a fever and virus. Yet again, Jaden caught a bunch of fish. I think it might be because he had his lucky fishing dog Harley with him. I have never seen such a crazy dog. Harley would bark when someone would cast and run back and forth on the dock to make sure she didnt miss anything. She even went swimming this year. Rod, Todd, Jaden and I had fun on the Jet Ski. Overall, we had a great weekend with Grandpa and Grandma Jacobs, and Uncle Rod. Cant wait for next year!

JADEN SAYS...

The summer is almost over for me. I start a school in Charles City, IA next Friday. I will be in the 4th grade. It is a new school for me too. I am nervous to meet new people and make new friends. I am looking forward to next weekend when we get to go to the Cabin with Rod and Julie. (and Sterling...) I hope to catch a lot of fish! Other than that I enjoy making my little brother giggle (I am pretty good at it too!). GOOD NIGHT!

4 Month Dr. Appointment

Today we had Jag's 4 month appointment. He is 29 inches long, and he weighs 19 # 6 oz. CRAZY. He is growing so fast. We got the go ahead to give him rice cereal and in a week we can start of fruits and veggies...yeah! Jag was not a happy boy though...he got 4 shots in his chubby thighs....poor guy!

Weekend with Aunt Stacey....

So...Saturday Jag spent the day and night with his aunt and uncle Losee. He enjoyed spending time with his big cousins and friends while watch Brad play softball. Little did mom and dad know that his aunt Stacey taught him how to drive.....HA!

Saturday July 19, 2008

Today we went to Riceville to Dean and Norma's to pick up Jaden. Jaden spent Friday night with Dean and Norma along with Judge. Jaden helped Dean feed the cows, chop wood, trapgophers and spray weeds. He also was able to ride our new 4-wheeler. When we picked Jaden up he was a mess. Jaden, Judge, and Lawson got muddy playing in the pasture. We enjoyed a nice afternoon sitting around a campfire. Jag was a happy boy and loved spending time with his aunt Stacey, Grandpa Dean, and Grandma Norma. Poor Harley had to stay home alone....
